Tomato base sauce and pasta

Add Olive oil and salt to water and bring to boil.

Add pasta to water and boil till soft. I am using macaroni cause it holds the most sauce.

In another pot boil water. Take 1 large tomato and make score lines round the tomato. Dunk into the boiling water for 30 sec.

Skin of tomato should peel off easily.

Chop tomato.

Finely chop French beans, this the a good way to hide beans if your kid doesn't like beans.

Finely chop chicken breast.

Add Olive oil to pan and fry chopped garlic till golden brown.

Add chopped chicken breast. Fry till 90% cooked.

Add chopped tomato.

Add chopped french beans and stir.

Add store bought pre made pasta sauce. I like the Pregos one cause its not salty. Alternatively you can use tomato paste or canned tomatoes.

Pour in pasta sauce and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes

Done!

Drain the pasta and put in serving bowl.

Pour pasta sauce on top of pasta.

Letitia's Verdict: 7.5/10 (ate all of it but took longer than usual to finish)
Mummy's Verdict: Great way to hide stuff that kids won't eat. Time taken 30mins.
